Information Systems Capability Assessment (ISCA)

The ISCA is a foundational part of External Quality Review, helping states and EQROs ensure that Managed Care Plans have the systems in place to collect, manage, and report accurate, reliable data. By assessing the strengths and weaknesses of an MCP’s information system, the ISCA supports valid performance measurement, encounter data validation, and overall program integrity.
